I thumbnailed a bunch of ideas for my poster. Concepts that I consider include using the visual elements of a sieve, maze, map, silhouette, tiny figures, circular type, photographs, typography running away from chasing figures etc.
I particularly wanted to reflect the meaning of ‘something’ in this sentence- as being a blank/blurred concept that the protagonist is trying to recall.
Some of the ideas I came up with in this thumbnailing stage are ones that I think I may revisit in the project’s later illustrations. For example I like the idea of tiny figures working in the head factory/room.
